My husband and I have been using Kawartha House Sitters for several years and it has always been such a relief knowing Penny and Mike have things covered while we are travelling. Living out in the country, it can be stressful leaving our home during the brutal winter months as so many things can go wrong; whether its a broken pump, water damage, extended power outages or a sudden health issue with one of your beloved pets. We have several rescue cats and one of our elderly cats suffered a severe stroke on the last day of our vacation down south. Mike and Penny immediately stepped in to action providing compassionate care and guidance as to options for emergency care, etc. We will be forever grateful for everything they did during a very stressful situation and highly recommend their services. We are new to the area and needed a house and pet sitter for our cat. It's difficult to trust someone to not only come into your house, but care for your pet who is a member of your family. Penny is wonderful and very flexible. She gave us daily updates and photographs of our boy who did not miss us at all. Also was there to accept an important package that was sent while we were away.

It can be very stressful leaving your home for a few days let alone 10, especially during the winter months. Our cats were pampered to the max, and we received regular updates via text. We have two dogs and they are a big part of our family and so when we asked Penny to pet sit for us we were nervous of leaving our precious boys in someone else's care, but we had the most wonderful experience because Penny looked after our dogs like they were her own. She sent us regular updates and photos, looked after all the little details, and provided an amazing service. Our dogs were very happy the whole time we were away and we could not have asked for better. Wonderful to be able to count on someone to look after your home while you are away, keeping it safe. Last year we did not use anyone when we went away and our home was broken into. Dealing with the insurance company was a nightmare because we didn't have anyone checking on our house. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

Went away for March Break, first time using Kawartha House Sitters but won’t be the last. The house was in great shape when we got home, with driveway and walkway clear of snow. Penny gave us daily updates and will look after anything that comes up. Very trustworthy and professional.

We went away for a month, Kawartha House Sitters do it all for a fair price. They not only check on the house but will also do grass cutting, watering of flowers, whatever you need. For the snowbirds they also do snow removal. We use them on a regular basis.

Wonderful people who understand animals are part of your family. I am so happy that they serve the Bridgenorth area. They did such a great job looking after my home, changing lights, shovelling snow and looking after my cats that my neighbour didn't even know I had left.
